How it works
Four steps, one envelope
This is a slow project on purpose. Here's the whole of it, start to finish.

I sketch a place
I pick one place a month and give it real time — a bench in Jeddah's Al-Balad, a rooftop in Diriyah, a bus stop in Khobar. The drawing happens on location, in ink and watercolour, in whatever heat the day brings.
- 02
The month's edition is made
The sketch becomes the postcard. I write the story card about the corner it came from, choose a small thing from the trip, and write the letter last — while I still remember how the place felt.

It's packed and posted from Saudi Arabia
Everything goes by hand into a kraft envelope, gets a stamp, and I walk it to the post office here in Riyadh. Saudi addresses ship free; international is charged at cost, by region.

It arrives as a piece of the journey
Some months the mail is quick, some months it takes its time. Either way, what turns up is a small physical thing from somewhere in this country — yours to pin up, or send on to someone.
